We are sorry for the late notice, however, we just received word that there is a produce giveaway happening now (Wednesday, December 7th) until 5:30pm at 1629 Brady Street, in Chesaning. It will be the Trinity United Methodist Church in Chesaning. Please feel free to stop by if you would like to for some fresh produce.
The 6th grade students had fun sharing their projects in Mrs. Meier's Social Studies class. They had the choice of creating a board game about South America or making a diorama. The final products were amazing, and the students enjoyed playing all the different games.

The Saginaw Spirits have an Adopt A School Program. We were lucky to be adopted by Marshall E. Campbell CO and Mercantile Bank. We had two Spirit players visit the elementary this past Wednesday. The students did a building competition with hockey pucks and the hockey players did a Q&A with students. The elementary school will also do a weekly family ticket give away through the end of February! Thank you to the two Saginaw Spirit Players that visited with us. 2022 STC graduate, Braeden Milbrandt, was given the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at a Pistons Basketball game with the Wayne State Alla Cappella group. Laina Harger, Annabelle May, Mallory Flory, Aidan Kelley, and Makayla Zelinko are members of, and represent St. Charles Community Schools in the Saginaw Youth Ambassadors Program. This is a 3 year high school leadership development program, concluding with peer to peer ambassadorship during the students' senior year, highlighting why Saginaw County is a great place to live, work, and play. The program meets once a month to visit/explore places in Saginaw and the representatives report the information back to their peers. career in the healthcare field? Covenant is offering a 5-month program in which you will meet at Covenant HealthCare from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm. Through these hands-on activities you will learn about the opportunities available to you in this amazing and rewarding career field!
Enjoy your time off!! There will be NO SCHOOL November 23rd, 24th, or 25th. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and be sure to reflect on all that you are thankful for. Students will return to school Monday, November 28th.
The middle school robotics team, Bulldog Bots, traveled to Lake Orion this weekend for their second competition as a rookie team. They placed 28th out of 36 teams. Congratulations to the team members and their coaches for a successful season!
The STC Quiz Bowl team entered today's tournament in fourth place and came out on top of the other seven teams, earning a Tournament Championship. Quiz members who competed today were Aidan Kelley, Carter Mason, Clarice Hunt, Audrey Hunt, and Emily Mueller.
The competitions are separated into two toss-up sections where anyone can buzz in, and one lightning round for the team to confer before having a captain answer. By luck of the draw today in the lightning round, STC beat Sacred Heart in the semi finals to advance to play Ashley in the finals. The two teams were tied at the last question, and Aidan Kelley answered a mathematical computation question correctly to win the championship.
Other members not present today, but very much a part of the team, include: Liberty Faughnan, Mallory Flory, Justin Sutton, Braden Wicke, Gabe Kelley, and Rebecca Krauss.

The juniors had the opportunity to hear an admissions presentation, meet with a marketing professor, talk with current students, take a tour, and have lunch at Northwood University today. Go Timberwolves!
