The excitement is building and students are in full homecoming preparation mode. The MS/HS band welcomed the students into the building this morning, parent volunteers are placing face tattoos on the students, Mrs. Schantz (with the help of some students) is busy organizing pictures for the 100th year of football display, and our Cross Country Team is gearing up to physically RUN the ball the 62 mile distance from Stockbridge to St. Charles (in the St. Charles for safety reasons). Fire up St. Charles....it is going to be a great day!

According to Keola Hawaiian Islands Community Magazine "The Life" The very symbol of aloha is the lei. And the most cherished expression is that of a child, “He lei poina ‘ole ke keiki,” meaning, “A beloved child is a lei never forgotten.” We have a school filled of beloved children!

You can't hide "Bulldog Pride"! As we prepare for the 73rd Homecoming Game and 100 Years of football. The St. Charles Pride Committee has already started decorating. The halls of St. Charles High School are filled with community pride and love for our athletes. GO BULLDOGS!!!!

Students and Staff rocked today. They took 100th day to a new level. Especially Mrs. Leffel and her wheels.

Hawaiian Day was fun as students and staff dressed in their island wear.

Neon Day was bright and colorful as students and staff showed they school spirit.

Officer Ott shared information with 8th grade students this morning about the importance of knowing the laws about social media. Her emphasis was sometimes you want to say something to someone but you would not say it to their face because you know it is wrong. So you go on social media and say it, and depending what it is you can get in a lot of trouble and even end up in jail. Her message was very clear "If you don't have something nice to say, then say nothing because you are always one choice from changing your life. She also told the kids that it costs nothing to be nice and everyone you meet is fighting a battle that you know nothing about. Thank you Officer Ott your presentation was very informative.

Mrs. Thompson & Miss Alley’s preschool class celebrated Bulldog Day (also known as red and black spirit day) a day early since they do not have class on Fridays! Go Bulldogs! 😊♥️🖤

Reminder...the elementary school will have stick on tattoos for sale for $1 in the morning before school on Friday, October 14th.

Our Elementary School Social Worker, Mrs. Lorencz, is rocking her 100 years old appearance for spirit day today. She is pictured with her daughter, Kinsley Lorencz.

STC alumni and St. Charles Firefighter, Caleb Browne, takes a minute to have a photo opportunity with his elementary son. Fire prevention day provides our students with knowledge and special memories. Thank you to all the Tri Township Firefighters that are able to spend time with all of our elementary students each year.

The halls are filled with 100 year old staff and students today for homecoming spirit week. Our MS/HS Principal, Mrs. Leffel, her sidekick Duke, and a few students show off their idea of "dress like your 100 years old day".

The Knights of Columbus graciously donated a box of girl's and boy's winter coats, hats, and mittens for our elementary school students. Pictured is Mrs.Harger and two of the members of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Dinninger’s Classroom received a generous donation of much needed classroom supplies in memory of a former student. Ms. Amy Gillings made the donation in memory of her daughter, Carly Bott a 2017 St. Charles Alumni.
