Oh, the places we went, and the experiences we had, were second to none and made students so glad. Many goals were met in 2023-24, students can't wait to set more. Classes have ended it's time to have fun, remember St. Charles Community School is number one. The year in review starts with "Bulldog Day". Students in Mr. King’s Industrial Arts class are working hard to finish up projects as the year ends.
Mrs. Hafner's first-grade class had a "camp read-a-lot" this afternoon to celebrate their progress as readers. They constructed blanket forts and read with flashlights.

As the year comes to a close, students in industrial arts are finalizing their projects. Excellent job!
The 4th and 5th grade track meets were held on Friday, May 24th, and they were successful! The kids did great; all four classes competed hard with great sportsmanship.
Mrs. Goschka’s class edged out Mrs. Decker’s class for the 4th grade championship, and Mr. Rousseau was victorious in his first year for the 5th grade championship. Mrs. Pumford joined in for the tug-o-war, but her help was not enough to take the win!
Mr. Moody would like to thank Mrs. Raquel Gomez and Mrs. Shari Hatfield for helping with scoring and ribbons, all the high school students for assisting with events and timekeeping, Mrs. Donna Schantz and Mrs. Sarah Kenyon for getting colored shirts for the kids, Mrs. Selich for the support and Subway lunch, and Ashley Schlager for her help with setup and being there as well. A huge thank you goes out to all of the families and friends who came out to support us. A great time was had by all!
The preschool students recently enjoyed a special Mother-Son Tea event with a special lady in their lives. It's heartwarming to see how much our youngest students appreciate this event and put in so much effort to celebrate the special people in their lives.
On Friday, May 24, 2024, we celebrated our little ones finishing their time with us in preschool and moving on to kindergarten next year. We have seen so much growth and are so proud of all of them. We want to thank all of our families. We are happy that you shared your little ones with us. Have a great summer, and we will see you in the fall!
