On Wednesday, May 17th, the 6th graders toured the STC museum. The students appreciated the kindness and knowledge shared by the museum guides. They even popped popcorn for us!
The students were impressed by the military displays, and they enjoyed exploring the old sports memorabilia, as well as the antique tools and appliances from long ago.
Many of the students reported that they plan to visit the museum again!
It was a wonderful way to spend the day!

The 6th graders enjoyed a guest speaker in Social Studies class on Friday, May 12th. Former STC students, Lauren Klump and her sister Ashley came to our school to give a presentation on what it was like to live in Japan.
The students are currently studying Asia, so it was extremely meaningful for them to meet and learn from people who actually experienced the Japanese country and culture.
We truly appreciate that Lauren and Ashley were willing to offer this opportunity to our students.
