Some members of National Honor Society, including Abby Dinninger, Ryan Cornford, Brenna Ashton, and Annabelle May spent some time with the Union Court residents with a few games of Bingo. A couple possible future members of NHS, Braden Wicke and Gabe Kelley, also joined them. Thanks to Donna Schantz for rounding up some prizes for the bingo winners. A great time was had by all!

Raffle and Game Update: Due to the snow days and the cancellation of the girls’ basketball game on Thursday, February 23rd, the class of “2025” raffle will now take place on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, during the varsity boys’ basketball halftime home against New Lothrop. The girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams will travel to Coleman tonight, February 24, 2023, to play. The girls will start at 5:30 pm and the boys at 7:00 pm. The switch to Coleman was made to assure that both varsity teams complete their league schedule. Also, by playing there the student-athletes of Coleman will be able to have the senior night they deserve. I know if the roles were reversed, we would appreciate our opponent doing the same for us. *There are no JV girls or JV boys games planned for tonight. If you are interested in purchasing raffle tickets for Tuesday’s drawing click on the link to purchase tickets. https://forms.gle/VEHArCHB7uCFmxcY7
Good afternoon,
Varsity teams will be allowed to hold voluntary practices today after 2:00. Please understand that practices held on cancellation days are strictly voluntary. If you feel it is unsafe to travel to the school, please stay home. Student athletes will not be penalized for not practicing on cancellation days.
Thank you,
Leon Larsen
