Congratulations to the Symphonic Band on their "1" rating at the MSBOA State Band Festival this morning at Bay City Central High School. It was a sweet redemption for Mr Wicke and the seniors, as they attended the District Band Festival in 2020 as freshmen and received straight "1's" from all of the judges and then COVID hit 3 weeks later, which prevented them from attending States. We are so proud of our STC band members, and Mr. Wicke for his leadership. Keep up the great work!! Please use the link below to see a part of the perfect performance: https://youtu.be/B3nsHPL_s6Q

St. Charles students are attending the Michigan Construction Career Day today in Howell, Michigan. Since 2008, MI Construction Career Days has been Michigan’s premiere construction career exploration event. Based on the National Career Day model, MICCD provides Michigan’s young people a chance to experience construction up close, using real tools, materials, and heavy equipment under the direct guidance of construction professionals from all sectors of the industry. These young people will not only see what construction is but learn of the training and education paths to secure the good paying jobs a career in construction provides.

Beaming With Bulldog Pride! Thank you Mrs Sandy Hart for organizing the career fair today at St. Charles Middle/High School. It was awesome to have students be able to speak with individuals about their careers. Students grades 9th-12th were involved with the career fair and learned valuable information to help them make career choices.

Best of luck wishes to the High School Symphonic Band as they travel to the MSBOA (Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association) State Band and Orchestra Festival. This year’s festival is being hosted by Bay City Central HS. The Symphonic Band will be performing on April 26th at 9:40 AM. The concert is free and open to the public. The performance will consist of 2 pieces from our District Festival performance, followed by a clinic from one of our judges. It should be a great day for the students and an awesome opportunity to perform.
