Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year at St. Charles Community Schools for all students and staff! We would like to thank the Elementary Parent Leadership group for providing the popular sign that greeted elementary students this morning.
IMPORTANT Morning Arrival/Afternoon Dismissal Information: With our new universal start time, all students will be able to enter the buildings at 7:40 a.m., and classes will begin at 7:50 a.m.
The morning drop-off procedures for all students will be the same as it has been in the past, with all elementary students being dropped off in front of the elementary and all MS/HS students being dropped off in front of the middle/high school. Please do not drop students off at the central office, as the buses will be traveling in that area.
The school day will conclude at 2:35 p.m. There are a few significant changes with the pick-up procedures, with all elementary families picking up students entering the complex on Bulldog Boulevard, looping around the complex, and entering one of two lines (either a pre-K - 2nd-grade line or a 3rd -6th-grade line). Signs will be posted to direct you.
If you have students in both pick-up lines, please enter the line for your youngest student. The older siblings will need to go to the youngest siblings' pick-up line to catch their ride.
Middle/High School students who do not have younger siblings should be picked up in front of the Middle/High School building.

Great news! Every student at St. Charles Community Schools District from pre-K to 12th grade can now enjoy a nutritious breakfast and lunch for free, thanks to the Michigan School Meals Program. To ensure that we continue to receive state and federal funding for this initiative, we kindly ask all parents to complete a short mandatory survey at https://stcharles.familyportal.cloud/ If you have trouble logging in, there are options to reset your account or create a new one. Once you're in, please follow these steps: click the Apply for Benefits tab, answer the questions, electronically sign your name, and click submit. Students/Parents of our students attending SCC:
Just a reminder that SCC (Saginaw Career Complex) starts school on Monday, August 28th. All SCC students are expected to be in attendance.
If you plan on riding the bus to SCC, please be at the middle/high school parking lot by 6:20 AM as the bus will be leaving at 6:30 AM.

Thank you to all the parents, guardians, and students who attended the 7th and 9th grade orientation. It was great to see so many Bulldogs back in the building. We're excited to see everyone on Bulldog Day, which is on Thursday!
