
The high school Competitive Writing team had their first competition on Friday at the Gratiot-Isabella RESD. The students had to write fractured fairy tales that shared another character's point of view. Their next competition is at the end of October.

The St. Charles Elementary Chess Club had its first meeting of the new school year on Friday. The club is open to 5th and 6th graders, and students of all experience levels are welcome to learn, play, strategize, and challenge their brains in one of the world's most revered board games. Students meet for an hour after school on Fridays for an exciting way to kick off the weekend.


Picture day is October 15th! More details will be sent out as we approach that date.

The Elementary Bulldog Strong Summer Learning Celebration was a great success! Students celebrated with snow cones, bounce house fun, and they all received a medal for their accomplishments. Congratulations to all of our students that were invited to the celebration!

Cristy Escamilla, St. Charles Community Schools Health Resource Advocate, would like to share a family event offered to our students. The flyer below provides information for the FREE walk/run event called The Turtle Race. The Turtle Race is held at the Saginaw Children's Zoo—how fun is that!!
