The Reality Check event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, 2023. This event will consist of a series of stations that students will visit to accomplish a budgeting task. Our 9-12 grade students will participate in the event. Students will randomly be provided with a "profession and wage" along with other variables to include loan payments and family/children with the goal to create a balanced budget based on everyday life. Each station will focus on one of the following examples: loan payments, housing, food, health and beauty necessities, phone, transportation, and insurance.
